Banking Consultant, Melbourne

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant in Melbourne (Victoria) within its Australia Retail branch division. The role is permanent and part-time (32 hours per week), based mainly in branches. Consultants meet customers' end-to-end financial needs, handle transactions, hold needs-based conversations and educate customers on available financial solutions, including digital ones.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting their banking needs across transactions, needs-based conversations and education on digital solutions.
• Work in a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best customer experience.
• Contribute to higher customer engagement and advocacy and create real customer value.
• Support bank programs and initiatives.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Ideally retail experience; not expected to have all listed attributes.
• Exceptional customer focus.
• Experience as a user and promoter of technology; working knowledge of digital channels is an advantage.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team.
• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
