Banking Consultant – Darwin, NT

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will be based in a branch in Darwin, NT and help customers achieve their financial goals. You will provide a seamless banking experience through transactions, needs‑based conversations and guidance on digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality customer service and act as an advocate for ANZ.
• Process a range of banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct needs‑based discussions to identify suitable products and services.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and promote their adoption.
• Support branch initiatives, programs and risk‑based “know your customer” processes.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide peer coaching and act as a role model for colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with a passion for helping people.
• Retail or customer‑service experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including rostered Saturday shifts.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to coach peers.
• Commitment to upholding ANZ’s Customer Promises and compliance standards.
