Banking Consultant – Customer Service Role

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their end‑to‑end financial needs. You will work primarily in the Moonee Ponds branch, supporting customers through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a seamless branch experience by handling transactions, conducting needs‑based conversations and educating customers on digital banking solutions.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within the branch team to ensure high‑quality customer service.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, contributing to branch performance targets.
• Support the Maribyrnong branch as required and be available for occasional Saturday shifts to meet operating hours.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain financial products and services.
• Accredited to perform a range of banking transactions.
• Flexibility to work a part‑time schedule and occasional rostered shifts.
