Aviation Digital Services Officer (Operational Support Officer)

About the role

Toll Aviation, part of Toll Group, is looking for an Operational Support Officer (internal title: Aviation Digital Services Officer) to join its Engineer team in Bankstown, NSW. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the role blends IT support, engineering administration, compliance coordination and operational support within a helicopter operations environment. Candidates must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT administration and support, including Microsoft Surface devices, user accounts, permissions, hardware and software.
• Administer engineering systems and user access, including maintenance management platforms such as Gannet.
• Maintain training records, personnel authorisations and compliance tracking.
• Support technical records management and ensure the accuracy of engineering documentation.
• Assist with roster coordination and travel arrangements for engineering personnel.
• Produce reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI and related business tools.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to Engineering leadership.

Required profile

• Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies.
• Experience in the aviation industry (desirable).
• Experience working with database or maintenance management systems.
• Experience in IT administration, including device deployment, user account management and technical support.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to manage competing priorities and to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power BI.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
