About the role
A Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology apprenticeship is open in Darra, with hands-on training using industry-leading equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians and Auto Electricians. Key responsibilities
- Work alongside qualified tradespeople and learn to diagnose and repair electrical faults on machinery and equipment
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Install and maintain electrical and electronic components
- Assist with servicing, repairs and maintenance activities
- Read and understand wiring diagrams
- Follow workplace safety procedures and best practices
- Complete the practical and theoretical requirements of the apprenticeship
Required profile
- Genuine interest in the automotive, electrical or mechanical industry
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
- Team player
- Current driver's licence
