Audit Manager – Assurance Services

About the role

KPMG Australia is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead complex audit engagements for large, public listed clients. You will be responsible for ensuring audit quality, advising on high‑judgement accounting matters, and collaborating closely with partners and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements, overseeing all aspects of audit delivery, client service and business development.
• Design, develop and perform audit procedures to obtain sufficient appropriate evidence in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide inspirational leadership to develop talent within the audit team.
• Build strong relationships with prestigious audit clients and contribute to quality assurance and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven track record of high performance in large and complex group audit engagements, preferably within energy, supply chain logistics, retail, pharmaceuticals or services sectors.
• Strong technical accounting capability with deep IFRS knowledge.
• Exceptional problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Demonstrated team leadership abilities.
