Audio Visual/Video Conferencing Senior Consultant

About the role

The Connected Technology Group at KPMG is seeking a senior AV/VC consultant to act as the face of audio‑visual and video‑conferencing services. You will deliver high‑quality customer support, ensure rapid issue resolution, and help maintain a reliable collaboration environment across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support audio‑visual, video‑conference systems and IT equipment within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Record and manage service requests in ServiceNow, diagnose root causes, and coordinate repairs or escalations.
• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance, including software, firmware and hardware upgrades.
• Collaborate with Level 2 network, hosting, ITS teams and third‑party vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Identify recurring problems, suggest process improvements and build strong relationships with suppliers.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience; vendor certifications are a plus.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate technical concepts in plain language.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain urgency, and keep composure during incidents.
• Experience in a high‑demand hospitality or similar environment is desirable.

Required skills

• Video‑conferencing platforms: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex.
• AV control systems: Crestron XIO, MTRP, QSC Designer, Sennheiser Cockpit, Crestron programming.
• Service management tools: ServiceNow, ITSM methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with AV/VC hardware, firmware upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Basic videography knowledge (cameras, microphones, lighting, live streaming).
