About the role

Flinders University’s College of Health and Enablement is hiring academics across the nursing career ladder, from Associate Lecturer to Associate Professor. The roles focus on teaching, research and practice leadership to support rapid student growth and improve health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses in both face‑to‑face and online formats, including simulation‑based learning.
• Support Flinders nursing students nationwide through flexible, online teaching programmes.
• Provide academic and clinical leadership to enhance student experience and drive research income and impact.
• Collaborate with industry partners and professional bodies to ensure curriculum relevance.

Required profile

• Proven educational and research leadership appropriate to the appointed level (Associate Lecturer to Associate Professor).
• Demonstrated expertise in nursing education, practice and research.
• Commitment to Flinders’ strategic goal of improving lives and strengthening communities.

Required skills

• Teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programmes.
• Design and delivery of online and simulation‑based learning experiences.
