Flinders University seeks a dedicated Lecturer (Teaching Specialist) to lead and enhance the Critical Indigenous Studies portfolio across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The role focuses on high‑quality teaching, curriculum development, and student support within an interdisciplinary and culturally responsive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct teaching using approaches that enhance the student experience.
• Design, review and renew curricula and courses to attract and retain diverse student cohorts.
• Provide academic counselling, professional advice and career guidance to students.
• Collaborate across disciplines to create interdisciplinary learning experiences that boost engagement and success.

Required profile

• Significant teaching and learning experience with a record of excellence.
• Demonstrated use of innovative learning and teaching approaches, including e‑learning technologies.
• Commitment to culturally responsive, student‑centred education and inclusive practice.
• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (confirmation required).
