About the role
Beca is seeking an experienced Associate Civil Engineer to join its NSW team, focusing on defence infrastructure projects across Australia. You will work with multidisciplinary specialists to deliver civil designs from feasibility through detailed design.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and deliver defence civil projects, including design management and coordination.
- Develop workflow processes to move designs from feasibility to detailed design.
- Coach and mentor junior team members in technical and project execution areas.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities with clients and industry partners.
Required profile
- Qualified Professional Engineer (CPEng) or Engineering Technologist with Engineers Australia membership.
- Experience in a consulting environment with a focus on general civil projects.
- Strong links to the Australian Defence sector.
Required skills
- Stormwater drainage design.
- Earthworks planning.
- Road and pavement design.
