Assistant Store Manager - Hillsdale

About the role

ALDI is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Hillsdale. You will join the store's leadership team and support the Store Manager in running a multi-million-dollar business, covering daily operations, sales and team motivation. The role is full-time, 40-45 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Train and coach team members and help develop future store leaders.
• Keep the store clean and safe, and manage stock and inventory while minimising losses.
• Work with the team on registers, filling shelves and merchandising special buys.
• Identify improvements and ensure the store runs smoothly so customers stay satisfied.
• Run the store while the Store Manager is on leave.

Required profile

• Experience leading teams, preferably in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and train a team.
• Ability to support the Store Manager and achieve store results.
• Professional, responsible approach and ability to work independently, overseeing ALDI policies and procedures.

• Remuneration of $101,500.67 - $120,871.30* (includes superannuation and predicted bonuses, varying with hours, location and experience).
