Assistant Store Manager - Every Sunday Off, Broadmeadows

About the role

The Reject Shop is opening and renovating stores as it grows into Dollarama Australia, and is looking for an Assistant Store Manager in Broadmeadows. The role is hands-on and on the floor, leading the team alongside the Store Manager and stepping up when they are away. It is presented as a clear path to running your own store.

Key responsibilities

• Help run the store hands-on and on the floor
• Lead the team alongside the Store Manager and step up when they are away
• Work across work, stock, service and standards, learning every part of running a store by doing it

Required profile

• Experience leading a shift, supervising, running a department, training new starters or holding the keys in a fast-paced environment such as retail, fast food, fuel, hospitality or a chemist
• No discount variety experience needed; training is provided

What we offer

• $29.46 base hourly rate plus penalty and overtime rates each week
• 17.5% leave loading
• Roster with no Sunday hours, every second Saturday off and three days off in a row every second weekend
