About the role

Stanley Restaurant, one of Brisbane's most celebrated dining destinations serving Cantonese cuisine in the heart of Howard Smith Wharves, is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager. The role suits a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment and works closely with the Restaurant Manager and leadership team to make every service run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the front-of-house team throughout service
• Set and maintain exceptional service standards and run smooth, organised and energetic services
• Build strong relationships with guests and create memorable experiences
• Manage service issues confidently and professionally
• Work closely with the kitchen and wider leadership team to deliver a seamless experience
• Help drive a positive, high-performance team culture

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Service Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager or similar leadership role
• Premium hospitality background
• Confident leading a large team in a busy service environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and high service standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Calm under pressure, leads from the front and loves hospitality
