Assistant Project Officer

About the role
The Assistant Project Officer supports the planning, administration and delivery of projects within the State Insurance Schemes Division. You will work closely with the Commercial Group to provide policy, reporting and research assistance while ensuring projects stay on track.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities, timelines and documentation.
- Prepare written advice, policy briefs and research reports.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Support the monitoring of commercial strategies and budgetary risks.
- Contribute to the development of legislative and governance frameworks.
Required profile
- Highly organised with strong project coordination abilities.
- Confident communicator with experience engaging stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborative, adaptable and delivery‑focused.
- Interest in policy or government work (desirable).
