Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager – Corporate Occupier

About the role

Support and lead project management commissions for corporate occupier fit‑out projects, acting as the primary client interface to ensure delivery against time, cost and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end service delivery for large or complex projects, establishing success criteria and detailed project plans.
• Manage quality, safety, health and environmental issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, processes and systems.
• Facilitate cross‑functional project teams and coordinate communication between the client, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance using KPIs, manage change control, and oversee project finances and reporting.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of client‑side project management experience, preferably in the corporate occupier (fit‑out) sector.
• Existing relationships with design consultants, builders and clients in the corporate occupier market are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and Agreements for Lease (AFLs).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage and support a design team.
• Understanding of Australian construction contracts and lease agreements.
