Assistant Manager - Norwood Hotel

About the role

The Norwood Hotel, a heritage-listed venue in Norwood about 10 minutes from Adelaide's CBD, is looking for an Assistant Manager. It sits next to Norwood Oval and offers modern Australian dining, live local music and the Finn MacCool's Irish Pub. The base salary is $80,000 plus superannuation, a bonus scheme and group-wide discounts.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely and with a great atmosphere.
• Learn the role of Publican while leading a team of hospitality staff.
• Anticipate problems and handle issues before they become bigger.
• Deliver energy, service and a smile every shift.

Required profile

• Experience working behind the bar, bistro or gaming room, possibly with some prior supervising.
• Confidence, pride and people skills to represent the pub when the boss is away.
• Current RSA, RSG and RP badge as required by state regulations.
• Able to lift and move stock, kegs and deliveries safely and efficiently.
