Gaming Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to run the gaming room at the heritage‑listed Norwood Hotel in Adelaide. You will ensure a friendly, welcoming environment for locals while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Know the regulars by name and provide excellent service.
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely and within all regulations.
• Share gaming knowledge and develop the team’s performance.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere with great service and friendly smiles each shift.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a gaming room as an attendant, supervisor or manager.
• Strong people skills and confidence to be the face of the gaming room.
• Thorough understanding of compliance and safe gaming practices.
• Current RSA, RSG and RP Badge as required by state legislation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on ability to perform manual handling and lifting tasks safely.
• Knowledge of gaming regulations and responsible service of alcohol.
