Assistant FP&A Analyst

About the role

AbbVie is seeking an early‑career finance professional to join a 12‑month contract as an Assistant FP&A Analyst. You will work alongside senior finance leaders, support strategic business decisions and develop commercial, analytical and technology skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate financial reporting for LBEs, including planning, update and LRP cycles.
• Partner with commercial and shared‑service teams on financial analysis, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Consolidate monthly LBEs and support annual planning processes.
• Monitor, analyse and review SG&A spending and ensure compliance with AbbVie policies and US GAAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; working towards CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA or MBA is desirable.
• 1‑2 years of experience in finance business partnering or FP&A, preferably in a pharmaceutical or complex commercial environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and data‑reconciliation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Moderate to advanced Excel and spreadsheet capability.
• Knowledge of SAP, TM1 and PowerBI (experience preferred).
