About the role
Universal Motors Pty Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic to join their team in Thomastown. The role offers hands‑on experience working alongside qualified motor mechanics, with mentoring and support. Ideal for candidates in their 2nd or 3rd year of study or new starters with a passion for cars.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles
- Service vehicles
- Perform safety checks
- Conduct computer diagnostics
- Maintain workshop and garage
Required profile
- Confident communicator
- Motivated with genuine interest in the automotive industry
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Safety conscious
- Preferably holds a manual driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (not essential)
