Analytics Consultant - Hybrid

About the role

Experian Marketing Services (EMS) helps businesses understand consumers and make confident decisions through data, working with leading Australian organisations. This presales role suits someone with a background in analytics, marketing technology, data or insights who wants to develop consulting and client-facing skills. You will report to the Principal Analytics Consultant and learn from experienced presales consultants, sales teams and solution experts.

Key responsibilities

• Support presales opportunities across marketing, data and analytics solutions
• Research client challenges and help identify solutions aligned with their goals
• Assess solution feasibility and investigate how products, data and services create value
• Prepare client presentations, proposals and supporting materials
• Take part in discovery sessions, solution workshops and client meetings
• Help with meeting preparation, follow-up and handover to delivery teams
• Contribute to implementation and delivery projects to build practical product knowledge
• Partner with sales, product and delivery teams to improve client outcomes
• Progress toward leading parts of client presentations and managing your own presales opportunities

Required profile

• Around 2-3 years' experience in an analytical, technical, data, marketing or related role
• Degree or equivalent experience in analytics, business, marketing, data, technology or a related field
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity and clear written and verbal communication

Required skills

• Useful: experience with analytical or data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx or Snowflake (no need to master all)
