Analyst, Cyber Security Resilience

About the role

Insignia Financial is looking for a Resilience Analyst to join its Cyber Security team. The role focuses on detecting, responding to, and recovering from cyber security incidents, handling daily alert triage, investigating threats, and providing insights that strengthen the organisation's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse security events from the SIEM, investigate suspicious activities and assess threats.
• Collaborate with external Security Operations Centres (SOC) to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Conduct threat hunting and participate in purple‑team exercises to test defences.
• Provide internal teams with best‑practice guidance and policy advice based on findings.
• Investigate incidents, perform digital forensics and respond to suspicious emails to mitigate risk.

Required profile

• Experience in cyber security operations, incident response and threat hunting, with a strong passion for the field.
• Solid understanding of security technologies such as SIEM, XDR, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS and threat‑intelligence platforms.
• Proven ability to analyse complex security events, identify root causes and interpret threat intelligence.
• Experience managing incident response from identification through resolution.
• Effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders and external SOC providers.
• Commitment to staying updated on evolving cyber threats and industry best practices.
