Aircraft Maintenance Planning Supervisor

About the role

Airnorth is recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Planning Supervisor to join its Continuing Airworthiness Management team in Perth. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will lead the Maintenance Planning function within the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), overseeing the airline's aircraft maintenance planning and coordinating with internal teams and external MROs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the airline's aircraft maintenance planning function, optimising activity to deliver scheduled plans for the entire fleet.
• Negotiate timing and task content with internal AMO and external MRO providers so all tasks are optimised.
• Report timely on issues affecting maintenance and aircraft availability.
• Provide focused leadership to CAMO planning staff and engage with the broader airline leadership and external MRO management.
• Prepare and approve work packs and non-routine work cards so scheduled maintenance meets the approved maintenance program.
• Support the wider organisation to minimise operational disruption and avoidable costs related to aircraft unavailability, ensuring efficient, compliant operations.

Required profile

• At least 5 years in aircraft maintenance planning, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an ASIC.
• High-level interpersonal skills to manage multiple tasks within strict timeframes.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of CASR Part 42 and the Part 42 Manual of Standards (MOS).
• Detailed experience with maintenance management software such as AMOS, Envision, IAS, TRAX or Winair.
• In-depth understanding of Approved Maintenance Programs (AMP) and forecasting principles.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with the MS Office suite.
