Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME/LAME) - Fixed Wing

About the role

Toll Aviation, part of Toll Government & Defence, is seeking expressions of interest from Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) to support its growing fixed-wing maintenance operations in Sydney. The team is described as professional and safety-focused, supporting critical aviation operations across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• AMEs: assist with scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, support inspections, servicing and defect rectification, complete maintenance documentation and workshop activities, and contribute to a strong safety culture.
• LAMEs: perform and certify maintenance within CASA Part 66 licence privileges, conduct scheduled, unscheduled and AOG maintenance, troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects, mentor and support maintenance personnel, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Required profile

• AMEs: Certificate II, III or IV in Aeroskills, or a completed aviation maintenance apprenticeship; current Australian driver licence.
• LAMEs: CASA Part 66 licence (B1.1 and/or B2); fixed-wing maintenance experience.
• Both: strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• Must be entitled to work in Australia and prepared to undergo pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
