Air Conditioning Installer and Technician

About the role

A growing company is hiring four qualified air conditioning installers for full-time positions in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, with its head office in Tingalpa. You will install and service commercial and residential air conditioning systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install air conditioning units in houses under construction, including high-wall splits, packaged units, split ducted systems and sheet metal ductwork
• Read plans and technical drawings and work from measurements
• Use a wide range of tools and equipment
• Handle refrigerant materials

Required profile

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (UEE32225) or equivalent
• Year 10 completed with good results in English and Mathematics
• Driver's licence
• Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain one)
• ARCtick licence
• Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills, and ability to work safely and independently or in a team

Required skills

• Installation of ducted and split air conditioning systems
• Experience with controls and chillers is an advantage
