AI Enablement Lead

About the role

Bellroy is looking for an AI Enablement Lead to be the steward of AI across the business: the tools chosen, the practices shared and the value gained. The role works across Creative, Marketing, Technology, Finance, Customer Support and more, partnering with the Technology, Continuous Improvement and People teams so that capability building sticks. It is full-time, based at the Collingwood headquarters, with some flexibility for up to one day a week from home.

Key responsibilities

• Run workshops that raise the whole crew's capability with AI tools.
• Sit with people while they solve real problems, guiding them and gently telling them when AI is not the right tool.
• Track usage and licence costs across the toolset, build a clear picture of return and recommend changes to tools and practices.
• Write guidelines on responsible use covering data privacy, security, intellectual property and quality.

Required profile

• Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools, from chat assistants to agentic workflows, and a habit of staying current.
• Able to turn a vague "could AI do this?" into a working workflow without pretending to be an expert in the team's domain.
• Experience designing and running workshops or training for diverse audiences such as designers, accountants and engineers.
• Comfort with numbers: tracking usage and licence costs and making the case for change.
• Ability to win the trust of sceptics and the restraint of over-enthusiasts, and sound judgement on responsible use.
• Resilience: updating advice when recommendations are superseded without taking it personally.

Nice to have

• Experience building automations or light integrations such as APIs, scripting or agent frameworks.
• Background in capability building, enablement, change management or continuous improvement.
• Retail or product-based business experience, or time alongside creative teams.
