Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to help build an advanced threat detection and incident response product suite for Australia’s electricity sector. The software you create will enable energy providers to detect issues faster, respond more effectively, and operate with greater confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications that ingest petabytes of data and provide analysis for cybersecurity threats and operational outages.
• Write high‑quality, secure code using Kotlin (backend) and React (frontend), and publish APIs for B2B customers.
• Collaborate weekly with customers to understand operational challenges and shape solutions.
• Plan and communicate work using agile methods, and mentor less‑experienced engineers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑stack development experience with strong TDD and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to own open‑ended problems and deliver well‑designed solutions.
• Passion for protecting critical infrastructure and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Kotlin (Micronaut or similar)
• React (or similar front‑end framework)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka
• Familiarity with Ruby and/or Python
• Knowledge of encryption technologies and unsupervised machine‑learning on time‑series data
