About the role

The 2026/27 Agribusiness Summer Internship at ANZ offers an eight‑week, hands‑on experience in regional banking. Interns will work alongside Regional Business Bankers to understand the financial needs of agricultural and rural customers across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Support Regional Business Bankers with day‑to‑day banking activities and client interactions.
• Learn ANZ’s banking systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in client site visits and regional community engagements.
• Contribute to project work that enhances the commercial banking experience.
• Assist in delivering high‑quality customer service to agribusiness clients.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about banking in regional Australia and the agribusiness sector.
• Strong sense of ownership and relationship‑building skills.
• Interest in agriculture, land, and environment‑based businesses.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate program.
