Agitator Driver

About the role

Heidelberg Materials Australia is looking for a safety‑focused Agitator Driver to transport concrete to construction sites across the region, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Operate concrete agitator trucks safely, complying with traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload concrete at batching plants and construction sites following established procedures.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including docket information, quantities, and delivery times.
• Communicate with dispatch, batch plant operators, and site personnel.
• Keep the agitator truck clean and well‑maintained and adhere to OHS policies, wearing appropriate PPE.

Required profile

• Valid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) or Higher Combination (HC) driver’s licence with a clean record.
• Experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably concrete agitators.
• Strong commitment to safety and understanding of OHS regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
