Advertising Sales Specialist

About the role

Join carsales as an Advertising Sales Specialist, helping automotive dealers grow their business through tailored digital advertising solutions that drive visibility, leads and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively pitch, negotiate and close digital advertising solutions with dealership decision‑makers.
• Translate client goals into customized advertising strategies using the full suite of carsales performance ad products.
• Build and manage a disciplined sales pipeline with CRM tools to convert opportunities into revenue.
• Maintain high daily sales activity, forecast accurately and consistently exceed quarterly quotas.
• Partner with Customer Success teams to ensure campaign delivery and identify upselling opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in sales, account management or similar customer‑facing commercial role, ideally within media, advertising, automotive, SaaS or technology.
• Proactive, commercial mindset with a proven ability to achieve revenue or growth targets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate product value and conduct commercial conversations.
• Ability to build trusted, long‑term relationships and influence key stakeholders.
• Excellent organisation and pipeline management skills, handling multiple customers and priorities.
