Advanced Pharmacist – Oncology (Paediatric)

About the role

The Advanced Pharmacist – Oncology will provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to paediatric oncology patients, leading the pharmacy practice in this specialty and contributing to teaching, service development and improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a complex clinical caseload of paediatric oncology medication use, applying advanced expertise and professional judgement.
• Collaborate with prescribers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Lead medication management service evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities to enhance clinical pharmacy services.

Required profile

• Qualified pharmacist with extensive experience in paediatric oncology pharmacy.
• Demonstrated leadership in clinical practice, teaching, and supervision of junior staff and students.
