Adabas Developer (NV1 Security Clearance) - Canberra Hybrid

About the role

An independent federal agency responsible for organising, conducting and supervising Australian elections is seeking an Adabas Developer through Recruitment Hive. The position is a 7 to 12 month contract starting as soon as possible, based in Canberra with hybrid work (WFH available) and requires NV1 security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Apply expertise to enhance and improve existing software, including designing, developing, implementing and testing software systems in line with business requirements and software development standards.
• Provide a high standard of technical and design documentation.
• Collaborate with other teams to investigate and resolve application issues, fix errors and recheck programs so the desired results are produced.
• Contribute to doctrine, election preparation and delivery activities under the election readiness framework, according to individual accountabilities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain high-quality, robust and scalable enterprise-level software solutions using ADABAS Natural.
• Experience with SAS programming and/or PostScript, including troubleshooting document rendering, managing print streams and supporting enterprise output systems.
• NV1 security clearance.
