Senior Integration Support Specialist

About the role

A high-performing technology team delivers, operates and enhances enterprise integration platforms and cloud-based services. It is looking for an experienced Senior Integration Support Specialist to join its collaborative API and Integration team, supporting developer platforms, integration services and cloud applications across the full integration lifecycle, from architecture and API development through to testing, deployment, troubleshooting and ongoing support. The position suits a senior engineer with strong cloud, integration and DevOps expertise who works in a modern Azure environment and partners closely with software development teams. The role is advertised as Canberra based but is open Australia-wide.

Key responsibilities

• Build, enhance and maintain enterprise API and integration platforms.
• Support the operation of cloud-based applications and developer portals.
• Take part in integration design, implementation and migration initiatives.
• Develop, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and identify root causes across applications and environments.
• Support Azure platforms, Web Apps and cloud migration activities.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to onboard applications and deployment pipelines.
• Interpret architectural designs, technical documentation and implementation blueprints.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable integration outcomes.
• Mentor and support team members where required, and manage competing priorities within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Strong experience managing and supporting enterprise integration platforms.
• Advanced experience with Terraform and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong software development background using .NET technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automation and cloud architecture.
• Experience designing, building and supporting API-led integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of API security, lifecycle management, standards and best practices.
• Experience gathering requirements and turning business needs into technical solutions and architectural designs.
• Proven ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Must hold a baseline security clearance.
