Accredited Exercise Physiologist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our Physical Services Team in Hobart. This role focuses on injury prevention, occupational health and rehabilitation across clinic, on‑site and home environments, offering a flexible part‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver injury prevention, health and wellness, and injury management programs for private clients and organisations.
• Provide clinical AEP services in the clinic, on‑site workplaces, and at‑home settings.
• Conduct Workplace, Task, Role Risk and Job Demands Assessments and advise on modifications.
• Perform pre‑employment and capacity assessments, as well as health surveillance and screening programmes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians.

Required profile

• Full ESSA accreditation.
• Understanding of workers’ compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication, customer service and time‑management skills.
• Current Working with Children Check, Police Clearance, Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
