Accounts Payable Officer (Temporary, MS Dynamics)

About the role

Robert Half is recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a highly regarded organisation based in Melbourne's CBD. The role is temporary and ongoing, working within a friendly team culture in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. It reports to the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Process a high volume of supplier invoices
• Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure authorisations are correct
• Carry out account and statement reconciliations
• Resolve supplier queries
• Set up and prepare weekly payment runs
• Manage employee expense claims
• Prepare month-end journals and accruals
• Work with MS Dynamics

Required profile

• Proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role
• Ability to pick up complex accounting systems and processes quickly
• Proven ability to manage high volumes and meet month-end deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport across all levels of an organisation

Required skills

• Strong system skills
• Previous MS Dynamics experience is an advantage
