Accounts Payable Officer (3-Month Temporary)

About the role

An established aged care organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its finance team on a temporary basis. The role is part-time, initially 3 days per week for up to 3 months, and is onsite in Camberwell. It suits a skilled finance professional who can hit the ground running and support day-to-day accounts payable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Manage invoice workflows and ensure timely processing of accounts payable transactions.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier queries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support efficient accounts payable operations.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve invoice-related issues.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing invoices.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and start quickly with minimal training.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with both Basware and TechnologyOne is essential; candidates without this experience will not be considered.

What we offer

• $46.70 per hour plus superannuation.
• Initially 3 days per week, with potential to increase to 5 days depending on workload.
