Account Manager – VIC & TAS

About the role

The Account Manager will deepen relationships with existing Fresh produce customers across Victoria and Tasmania, driving organic growth and delivering end‑to‑end supply‑chain solutions. This hybrid role combines office work in Cremorne, Melbourne with regular travel to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen and expand relationships with established Fresh produce customers through strategic engagement and long‑term value creation.
• Drive organic revenue growth by identifying opportunities, analysing customer needs and collaborating with the FV Business Development Manager.
• Oversee customer experience and supply‑chain performance to meet financial and satisfaction targets.
• Conduct regular face‑to‑face meetings across VIC (weekly) and TAS (quarterly) to build lasting partnerships.

Required profile

• Background in FMCG or direct Fruit & Veg with experience in account management, commercial buying or category management.
• Strong supply‑chain or transport‑logistics knowledge and proven ability to deliver client‑focused solutions.
• Excellent relationship‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills, capable of influencing senior leaders.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate remotely with national teams and travel as required.
• Familiarity with AI, digital tools and sales frameworks (training provided).
