Account Manager – Residential

About the role

PPG is seeking an Account Manager to lead a well‑established residential territory across Sydney. This relationship‑focused position partners with builders, painting contractors and trade customers to provide the products, service and support they need.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of an existing portfolio of residential builders, painting contractors and trade customers across Western Sydney.
• Build trusted relationships, identify growth opportunities and win new business.
• Execute structured territory and call‑cycle plans to maximise customer engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Use CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities and maintain strong territory discipline.

Required profile

• Experience in account management, territory management or B2B sales.
• Industry knowledge of paints, coatings, decorative products, building materials or a closely aligned sector.
• Understanding of the needs of builders, contractors, tradespeople and residential construction customers.
• Proactive, autonomous work style with strong planning and organisation skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
