Account Manager – Hot Water

About the role

As the Account Manager – Hot Water you will lead Daikin’s launch and commercial expansion in the hot water sector across Victoria, building a specialist partner network and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage relationships with hot‑water specialists, plumbers, contractors and builders to achieve sales targets.
• Utilise internal analytics and negotiate pricing and credit terms within company frameworks.
• Act as the technical and commercial advocate for Daikin hot‑water products at industry events and customer forums.
• Interpret layouts, schematics and installation drawings to guide accurate product selection and compliance.
• Oversee quoting and ordering while ensuring alignment with governance and J‑SOX guidelines.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity and report findings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hot‑water, plumbing or related building products sales.
• Proven success in key account management or sales within the hot‑water or plumbing wholesale space.
• Strong understanding of domestic plumbing practices, hot‑water systems, drainage, venting and Australian plumbing standards.
• Highly self‑motivated, results‑driven with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret plumbing schematics and installation drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook.
