Account Manager – Commercial (QLD)

About the role

Daikin Australia is seeking an Account Manager to join its Commercial sales team in Murarrie, Queensland. You will be responsible for growing the business within the commercial channel and maintaining strong relationships with dealers, contractors and trade accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an extensive customer base of Daikin dealers, commercial contractors and trade accounts.
• Develop new customer accounts and grow existing ones through targeted sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to deliver project quotes and meet customer requirements.
• Negotiate within Daikin pricing and credit structures to achieve budget targets.
• Conduct regular customer follow‑ups, site visits and obtain builder schedules to keep project knowledge up to date.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience in HVAC solutions or technical sales support.
• Strong understanding of sales cycles and ability to apply appropriate strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with internal and external customers.
• Motivation and resilience to manage complex projects in a competitive market.

Required skills

• Ability to interpret technical designs and translate them into product solutions.
• Capability to negotiate effectively within pricing and credit frameworks.
