Account Manager – Cement Sales

About the role

Based in Canberra and reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager ACT will manage and grow Boral Cement’s market share of bulk cement and packaged products across the ACT and Regional Southern NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and nurture account relationships to ensure retention, identify risks and opportunities, and increase sales, volume and margin.
• Prospect, build and maintain strong customer relationships, act as a technical consultant and achieve or exceed sales objectives.
• Facilitate customer issue resolution with operations, quality control, credit control and transport to ensure a positive experience.
• Develop sales strategies, conduct competitor and market analysis, and forecast sales volumes.
• Represent Boral at industry events to gather market data and new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong experience as an Account Manager within construction, building or industrial retail sectors.
• Proven ability to resolve customer issues, maintain satisfaction and achieve sales outcomes.
• Demonstrated initiative to identify growth opportunities and mitigate contractual risk.
• Adaptable, proactive and solutions‑oriented with solid relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Sales and account management expertise in the cement or construction materials industry.
• Ability to analyse market data and develop pricing strategies.
