Account Executive (SMB)

About the role

As an SMB Account Executive at Zeller, you will build strong relationships with Australian SMEs, understand their business needs, and position Zeller’s payments and banking solutions to improve their cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect small and medium-sized businesses through outbound lead generation, door‑to‑door visits, cold calling/email, referrals and inbound leads.
• Manage the full sales cycle—from planning and cold calling to qualifying, due diligence and closing—to exceed individual targets.
• Develop commercially sound deals across diverse verticals and complex economics.
• Maintain a clean leads and deals pipeline with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Operations to relay product feedback.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience as a Senior BDR or SMB Account Executive with a proven record of exceeding quarterly goals.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Strong commercial mindset, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
