Account Executive – Services & Software Buying Programs

About the role

The Account Executive will create and manage opportunities across a diverse portfolio of accounts, driving new and renewal business for Cisco’s services and software buying programs. You will build long‑term relationships with customers and act as the chief strategist for outcomes and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for complex, multi‑architecture enterprise agreements and service solutions.
• Collaborate with specialist teams, partners and internal sales functions to move opportunities through the sales cycle and achieve revenue targets.
• Use data and analytics to forecast demand, demonstrate customer pain points and set weekly, monthly and quarterly sales commitments.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Cisco services, buying programs and market trends to advise customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in enterprise technology or services.
• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Proven ability to build relationships with C‑level executives and influence cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of enterprise‑wide service and software buying program solutions.
• Experience with complex deal structures, pricing and multi‑year contracts.
• Advanced analytical skills to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
