Account Executive – Large Enterprise Public Sector

About the role

The Account Executive is a field sales role focused on client retention and growth within Gartner's Large Enterprise Public Sector segment. You will build trusted relationships with C‑Level executives and ensure they receive maximum value from Gartner services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive value delivery with current Gartner clients, ensuring they maximize the benefits of their services.
• Identify, cultivate, qualify and close growth opportunities through cross‑sell and upsell.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of high‑quality opportunities to meet sales metrics and quotas.
• Manage complex, high‑revenue sales across matrixed business environments.
• Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling to or influencing C‑Level executives.
• Ability to own, manage and forecast a complex sales process.
• Willingness to travel as needed; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
