Account Executive – Energy & Power

About the role

Join Marsh’s Energy & Power team in Brisbane as an Account Executive. This hybrid role supports large, complex accounts across the energy sector, combining client relationship management with insurance and risk‑management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Support Energy and Power clients through insurance renewals and the annual insurance cycle.
• Assist Senior Account Executives and Principals with portfolio management and risk‑program development.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers, understanding their business and insurance needs.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within the Energy & Power portfolio.
• Process invoices, policy accounting information, and related documentation accurately and on time.
• Liaise and negotiate with clients, underwriters, and claims managers while developing technical knowledge of relevant insurance classes.

Required profile

• Experience in a commercial insurance environment.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of finance and general business functions.
• Dedication to quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Tier 1 compliance certification (or willingness to obtain it).
• Willingness to learn about the Energy & Power sector.
