Account Executive – Energy & Power

About the role

Marsh is seeking an Account Executive to join its Energy & Power team in Brisbane. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and focuses on supporting large, complex accounts within the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support Energy and Power clients through insurance renewals and the annual insurance cycle.
• Assist Senior Account Executives and Principals with portfolio management.
• Develop, implement, and administer risk management and insurance programmes tailored to client needs.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within the Energy & Power portfolio.
• Process invoices, policy accounting information, and related documentation accurately and timely.
• Liaise and negotiate with clients, underwriters, and claims managers while developing technical understanding of relevant insurance classes.

Required profile

• Experience in a commercial insurance environment.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of finance and related functions.
• Dedication to quality and a passion for customer service.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Tier 1 compliance certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Interest in learning about the Energy & Power sector.

Required skills

• Knowledge of insurance products.
• Tier 1 FSRA compliance certification.
