Account Executive – Corporate & Commercial

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for an Account Executive to join its Corporate & Commercial team in Townsville. This hybrid position requires you to work in the office at least three days a week and will involve managing and growing a portfolio of insurance accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand personal relationships and a book of business to meet team sales targets.
• Research and analyse client accounts to understand business needs and risk exposures.
• Develop and present insurance solutions, collaborating with Placement, Advisory Leader, and Client Executive.
• Identify expansion opportunities and define custom solution strategies for the portfolio.
• Represent Marsh at industry events and conferences to build a professional network.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in an insurance environment.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of general business functions.
• Excellent problem‑solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise work, multitask and meet deadlines consistently.
