Account Executive - Corporate and Commercial

About the role

Join Marsh Risk’s Corporate & Commercial team in Townsville, working in a hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office. You will manage and grow a portfolio of personal and team accounts, contributing to sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand relationships and a book of business, supporting team sales goals.
• Research and analyse client accounts to understand business needs and risk exposures.
• Develop insurance solutions using risk expertise and market knowledge.
• Execute renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with placement and advisory teams.
• Assist in client presentations and create innovative solutions to win new business.
• Identify expansion opportunities and define custom solution strategies for the portfolio.
• Represent Marsh at industry events and conferences to build professional networks.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in an insurance environment.
• Tier 1 or ANZIIF qualification is highly regarded.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of general business functions.
• Excellent problem‑solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines consistently.

• Knowledge of insurance products and risk management.
• Understanding of strategic client engagement and portfolio management.
