Accommodation & Guest Services Coordinator (Live-In)

About the role

The Avoca Beach Hotel, a family-owned hospitality business on 15 acres in Avoca Beach on the NSW Central Coast, is looking for a live-in Accommodation & Guest Services Coordinator. The role supports the day-to-day running of the accommodation business, covering reception, housekeeping coordination, café and food and beverage service, and after-hours guest support. It is a single-person live-in position, though the accommodation may suit a couple.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front desk enquiries by phone, email, online channels and third-party accommodation providers
• Coordinate housekeeping staff, cleaning rosters, inventory and room availability
• Ensure smooth check-in and check-out and respond to guest enquiries, requests and complaints
• Assist with the Treetops Café and broader food and beverage services
• Maintain workplace health and safety and food safety standards
• Provide after-hours guest assistance, including late check-ins, five nights per week
• Help with weekend, public holiday and occasional evening work

Required profile

• Previous accommodation experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and a proactive, team-focused approach
• Experience with functions and events is highly regarded but not essential

Required skills

• Experience with the RMS reservation system, or the ability to learn new digital management systems quickly
