Speech Pathologist – Early Start Australia Clinic

About the role

Join Early Start Australia’s allied health team in Toowoomba to provide speech pathology services to children and young people. You will work across clinic, home, school and community settings, delivering personalised therapy and supporting families.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored therapy programs aligned to client goals.
• Deliver services in various settings, including group therapy and parent workshops.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes, reports and documentation within required timeframes.
• Align therapy plans with NDIS funding and ensure correct invoicing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Registration with AHPRA and SPANDIS.
• Current Working with Children Check or equivalent vulnerable‑people registration.
• National Police Check and First Aid Certificate.

Required skills

• Solution‑focused therapy and early intervention experience.
• Strong communication, observation and report writing abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload of complex clients.
