Senior Manager – Global Mobility Tax Advisory

About the role

KPMG’s Global Mobility Services (GMS) Advisory team helps multinational organisations manage the complexities of a globally mobile workforce. As a Senior Manager in the US‑Australia Tax Advisory Services team, you will advise high‑net‑worth clients, family offices and multinational organisations on cross‑border tax planning, compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory and compliance services focused on Australian and US tax matters, including residency considerations.
• Prepare and review tax forms and schedules for the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support team leads in delivering services to expatriates, multinational organisations and privately owned businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions.
• Stay current on legislative changes and deliver timely, innovative guidance to clients.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in US and Australian tax advisory services (US tax experience mandatory).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation.
• Leadership qualities with a passion for developing diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
• Business development orientation, capable of creating effective sales material.
